THE PUBLIC WORKS EXPERIENCE proudly presents:
SPEAKER SERIES
Join us for this informative session highlighting the comprehensive efforts that are helping to keep Baltimore's Inner Harbor the sparkling jewel of downtown.
Adam Lindquist will discuss the creative and innovative approaches Waterfront Partnership implements to clean and restore Baltimore's Inner Harbor while overcoming apathy, forging new partnerships, and adding googly-eyes to as much infrastructure as possible.
Adam grew up in central New York surrounded by the beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and gorges that make up the region. His love of the outdoors and natural waterways made him a lifelong environmentalist and his desire to make a difference led him to study watershed planning at the University of Maryland, College Park. Adam is vice president of the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore where he has worked for the last 14 years. He leads the Healthy Harbor Initiative and has overseen the creation of Mr. Trash Wheel, the Baltimore Oyster Partnership, the Baltimore Blueway, and Harbor Splash - the first public swim in the Inner Harbor in over 40 years.
